Secured Delivery

The personnel that handle the delivery and pick up are employees of Pacific Storage Company.  We do not utilize any outside carriers or delivery services to fulfill our delivery or pick up needs. 

Our bar code tracking system is paramount in the safe and secure delivery of your critical data.  We utilize Symbol Mobile scanners to validate every order before leaving our facility to ensure we have properly loaded the right inventory.  This ensures, we never leave the facility without having all we need to make a proper delivery.  When we arrive at your facility, we access our scanner that has your work order in place and scan the files or containers that are to be delivered.  This step ensures we are delivering a complete work order.  When asked to pick up a file or container, we scan each file/container before leaving your facility and print a receipt from our portable printers leaving you a receipt of what we picked up.  A copy of our work order is always left with your representative.  When we arrive back at our facility our scanners are downloaded to our system which is backed up daily.  All Pacific Storage servers are backed up hourly with backups transferred off-site daily to two redundant data centers on the East Coast.

 

We utilize traditional cargo vans for our delivery teams.  Each vehicle has a built-in GPS unit attached that in” real time” denotes its exact location at all times.  All of our drivers carry “Nextel” two way radios to communicate with our Operations Department if the need arises.  Our vehicles have factory installed locking devices in place to facilitate the locking of our vehicles.  Our vehicles are locked at all times when left unattended.  We have built in cargo areas that are separately secured from the cab with access only through the back or side doors vs. the cab area.
